Stakeholder Meeting #1

The first Northern Terminus Traffic Study (NTTS) Stakeholder Meeting took place on April 27, 2017 from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. This meeting provided an introduction to the NTTS and solicited input from stakeholders. The presentation reviewed the North DuSable Lake Shore Drive Phase I Study and its relation to the NTTS, history and existing conditions of the study area, and study goals and objectives. Following the presentation, a Needs Assessment group exercise took place. Stakeholders were asked about current conditions and needs throughout the study area. 

The following issues were identified: traffic congestion/access problems, safety problems, pedestrian/bicycle circulation problems, and sensitive social or economic resources. Additionally, project team members were available to discuss the study and answer questions.
