Task Force Committee Meeting #14
On July 23, 2024, the North DuSable Lake Shore Drive project team held Task Force (TF) Committee Meeting #14 in person at the Chicago Metropolitan Agency for Planning. Task Force committee members were invited to attend one of two identical two and a half hour sessions. The first session was held from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.; the second session was held from 1:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. Representatives from the Corridor Planning Committee and all Task Force committee groups were in attendance.
During this meeting, the project team reviewed the Level 3 (Final) Screening analysis and results, shared the Recommended Preferred Multimodal Roadway Alternative, and received input from the Task Force committee. The project team then facilitated table workshops with committee members to discuss potential park access improvements for people walking, rolling, and bicycling throughout the corridor.
In total, there were 66 Task Force committee members who attended, as follows:
- Morning Session – 22
- Afternoon Session – 44
