DIVERSEY PARKWAY TO IRVING PARK ROAD CORRIDOR
Alderman Tunney of the 44th Ward and Alderman Cappleman of the 46 th Ward hosted Community Meetings focused on the Diversey Parkway to Irving Park Road segment within the North DuSable Lake Shore Drive (NDLSD) project area. The goal of these meetings was to receive direct community input on the potential improvements within this area.

2023 COMMUNITY MEETINGS
Two Community Meetings were held on April 20, 2023 at Temple Sholom. The first meeting took place from 2 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and the second meeting took place from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Over 370 members of the public attended the two meetings. The agendas, formats, and presentation materials of both meetings were identical. The meetings were held in an open house format, during which attendees could visit five stations to review the Study Overview, Lakeview Transportation Network and Lakeview Design exhibit boards included below, view a traffic model, and provide input to the project team. The meeting also included an introductory PowerPoint presentation.
Comments were received through Comment Forms and through discussion at the meeting stations. While comments are welcome at any point in the project process, the comment period for this meeting is through May 11, 2023. Following the comment period, a Frequently Asked Questions with responses will be added here.

2021 COMMUNITY MEETING
A Virtual Community Meeting, which focused on the Belmont Avenue to Addison Street segment of the NDLSD corridor, was held on June 22, 2021 through the online meeting platform, Zoom. The meeting took place from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and over 230 members of the public attended. The project team presented a PowerPoint followed by a question-and-answer session. The PowerPoint presentation and an interactive mapping tool was available for public review prior to the meeting and remained available following the meeting. Comments will continue to be accepted through the entire project development process. However, comments must have been received or postmarked by July 16, 2021, to be a part of the public record specific to this Community Meeting.

2019 COMMUNITY MEETINGS
Two Community Meetings were held on August 12, 2019 and August 13, 2019. The first meeting took place at Temple Sholom in the Bettie Porter Hall from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and over 100 members of the public attended.The second meeting took place at AMITA Health Saint Joseph Hospital in the Lakeshore Café from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and over 130 members of the public attended. The agendas, formats, and presentation materials of both meetings were identical. The meetings were held in an open house format with a PowerPoint presentation including an open Q&A, followed by smaller breakout group discussions with project team members. Exhibits displaying the Diversey Parkway to Irving Park Road Corridor Context Tailored Treatment Alternative were reviewed during these small group discussions and feedback was provided.
